Abstract

A quantitative feedback theory design was applied for attenuation of acoustic noise in earphones and headphones. The system considered included, a microphone, a speaker, and a digital control system. Identification including uncertainity was measured for several ears. The uncertainity was small for low frequencies up to 2 kHz, and increased for high frequencies.
