We would like to thank S. Adler and M. Schwarz for pointing out the possible importance of Griffith's inequalities. We are grateful to E. Lieb for suggesting the positivity of the Fourier transform of F~(r; A). The research of M.S. was supported in part by a Dr. Chaim Weizmann Post-Doctoral Fellowship, NSF grant number PHY-86-20266 and NSF grant number PHY-84-15534.

N2 - We describe meson wave function by a QCD euclidean four-point function. We prove that this function is maximal at the origin and then get the stronger result that it has a positive Fourier transform. We also discuss the monotonicity of the function, which might probe more specific features of QCD, than just positivity of the integration measure over the gauge configurations.
