Abstract
The motion caused by a point source and a source of finite extent in an elastic half space with corrugated boundary is obtained and compared with the motion in a flat half space. The method of solution is based upon a combination of a perturbation theory and a finite difference method. The effect of corrugation on body and surface waves is investigated.
