Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingConference contributionpeer-review

Abstract

In this talk I focus on factors that may affect the promotion of mathematical creativity in heterogeneous classes. One factor is teachers' beliefs regarding the relationship between mathematical creativity and excellence in mathematics. Another factor is the teacher's actions during classroom activities. The lens through which we view and analyse classroom interactions also allows us to appreciate how diversity may contribute to creativity.
