Abstract
Primary progressive freezing gait is a rare idiopathic incurable incapacitating disorder with an unfavorable prognosis. Its principal clinical manifestation is freezing of gait as the only symptom at the beginning of the disease, but with disease progression features develop that resemble progressive supranuclear palsy. Its diagnostic criteria, natural history, pathogenesis, and attempts to treatment are considered in this article.
