Polarization Inversion in P·T·D - Symmetric Single Layered Polarizers

Abstract

Definitions of incident and reflected modes in the P·T ·D formulation result in co-polarized non-reflection for 450 and 1350 polarizations with respect to the mirror plane. For other incident polarizations, the non-reflection angle is rotated and reflections are inverted. A number of applications is envisioned, including a reflective polarizer described below.
