Plasma frequency in randomly oriented and textured ceramics YBa2Cu3O6+x as a function of oxygen content

Abstract

The plasma frequency of a set of randomly oriented and textured YBa2Cu3O6+x polycrystals is found to decrease from 5.8 1021 cm-3 (x=1) to 3.2 1021 cm-3 (x=0.5), using a Drude model for reflectivity measurements, applicable only in the frequency range investigated.
