Abstract
The incidence of ovarian residual syndrome must be suspected in all patients after hysterectomy in whom one or both adnexa remain and in all patients who complain of lower abdominal pain or deep dyspareunia. All six patients who exhibited this syndrome and were operated upon are free of the aforementioned symptoms at one to three years after surgical treatment.
