Abstract

Modern health care systems are built on delivery of services by members of various disciplines. One of the major preconditions to effective interdisciplinary cooperation is knowledge of and respect for the other professions. This study endeavoured to learn how key members of the health team view nursing. It is planned to use the findings in the development of education and service programmes which will promote cooperative team relationships. This part (III) of the project dealt with a third partner in the health team, the social worker.
