Ophthalmic photoacoustic spectroscopy in the aqueous humor

Abstract

The use of photoacoustic spectroscopy for detection of disease related proteins in the aqueous humor is proposed. Experimental results demonstrating detection of absorbing particles in isolated ovine eyes along with eye-safety considerations are presented.
