Abstract
The one-meson-exchange contribution to the differential and total cross-section has been calculated for Λ-p scattering using the one-pole approximation for K, η, K* and ω exchange. The coupling constants were chosen both from experimental data and SU3 model. Results indicate that the K* exchange is the dominating process at incident momenta (0.5 / 3.0) GeV/c, and is in agreement with the present experimental results of about 20 mb at 0.5 GeV/c.
