Abstract
The structure of the t-channel unnatural parity exchange contribution to two and quasi two body reactions is examined. A method in which the absorbed pion exchange contribution is strongly suppressed for -t≥ 0.2 GeV2 is discussed. A hybrid model is presented which enables us to concurrently provide a consistent description of reactions in which the pion exchange plays an important role. This is achieved without recourse to additional parameters.
