Abstract
We discuss a proof by Nishimori and Ozeki that there is no spin glass order in short-range vector spin glasses below four dimensions. We argue that certain assumptions made in their derivation are incorrect. We also give a simple proof without using the replica trick, of the rather unsurprising result that such systems have no spin glass order in or below two dimensions.
