On PMEPR of algebraic codes

Abstract

New bounds on the ratio between the discrete and continuous maxima of multicarrier (MC) signals are derived. In contrast to the earlier known results, these bounds depend on the value of the discrete maximum. Use of the bounds yields improved estimates for the peak-to-mean envelope power ratio (PMEPR) of trace codes.
