On acceleration of a class of asymptotically stable homogeneous systems

Abstract

A switched supervisory algorithm is proposed, which ensures fixed-time convergence by commutation of finite-time or exponentially stable homogeneous systems of a special class, and a finite-time convergence to the origin by orchestrating among asymptotically stable systems. A particular attention is paid to the case of exponentially stable systems. Performance of the proposed control algorithms is illustrated by computer experiments.
