Abstract

In this article, we are concerned with the observer-based event-triggered boundary control strategy for a class of coupled PDE-ODE systems with boundary measurement. A state observer and an observer-based controller are recalled and the emulation of the observer-based is naturally proposed by sampling the continuous control input. A dynamic triggering mechanism is designed, under which the observer-based control input makes the resulting closed-loop system exponentially stable. Moreover, the existence of a minimal-dwell time is ensured, which means that Zeno behavior is excluded.
