Abstract

We report on the growth and characterization of novel Ce 2.2Bi0.8Fe5O12-(Ce:BiIG) epitaxial thin films fabricated via Pulsed Laser Deposition. Our results suggest the highest Faraday rotation ever obtained in magneto-optical garnet thin films (0.55degrees/μm, @1550 nm).
