Abstract
Nonspecific ulceration of the colon is rare. Most such ulcers of the colon occur in the cecal region. Until now, only about 130 cases have been described. The literature dealing with the clinical features, etiology, pathogenesis and treatment is reviewed, and two further cases are presented.
