Abstract

We analyze the guided waves on cylindrical metasurface magnetized perpendicular to the cylinder axis. The magnetic bias yields dependence of the surface conductivity on the angle ϕ. Using an analytical model, and full-wave simulations, we show this structural asymmetry, combined with magnetization induced nonreciprocity, yields modes which dominantly propagate on opposite sides of the cylinder depending on their propagation direction.
