Abstract

Non-infectious uveitis (NIU) refers to intraocular inflammation in which infectious and masquerade causes have been ruled out. It encompasses a heterogeneous group of diseases and can be classified based on the primary anatomical location of inflammation: anterior, intermediate, posterior or panuveitis.1,2 Anatomic diagnostic approach guides physicians in the process of differential diagnosis establishment, employing ancillary tests, disease identification, and selecting the appropriate treatment.
