N2 - Aluminum nanostructures appear to be a good alternative to gold or silver because of the broad range of their plasmonic resonances (UV to NIR) and their reduced cost. In this paper, we present a new way of synthesis of Al nanoparticles based on sonochemistry and solvothermal reaction. By tuning the solvothermal reaction time, we are able to control the size of the nanoparticles between 10 to 100nm. Finally, we will present some applications of such nanoparticles.
