Abstract

STRICTLY SPEAKING, until a definitive settlem ent o f the A rab - Israel conflict is achieved, any references to Middle East “peace dividends” are unw arranted and prem ature, especially w hen the 1993 Oslo negotiating timetable has experienced serious delays. On the other hand, it is entirely appropriate that attention be called in mid-1994 to arguably the single most tangible peace process dividend thus far: the revitalization o f Israeli foreign and overseas econom ic relations.
