Neurocognition in Brain Tumor Patients

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapterpeer-review

Abstract

This chapter reviews the impact of brain tumors and their therapy on neurocognition and discusses possible methodologies for prevention and preservation of this crucial brain function. Improving cognitive outcome and preservation of the sense of functional integrity may be one of the most important goals in treating patients with brain tumors, perhaps even more than marginally extending their survival.
