Abstract
Suppression of the interchannel crosstalk of the solitons by the channel-isolating notch filters was studied both analytically and numerically. Crosstalk can be nearly completely suppressed over and unlimited propagation distance by the filters which need the compensating gain approximately 0.025 dB/km, in the case of the dispersion-shifted fiber with β to approximately -2 ps2/km and usual solitons.
