Abstract
Turbulent wavy flow models for intermediate and high Re are presented. The modelling is based on different mechanisms which control the various zones along the wave. It is shown that sufficient information may be available to generate a closed-form solution. Reasonably satisfactory agreement between the theoretical predictions and the experiments is obtained for a wide range of film Re.
