Mobility of 1D solitons in the discrete CQ Schro¨dinger equation

Abstract

We investigate mobility for localized modes in the discrete nonlinear Schr o¨dinger equation with cubic and quintic (focusing and defocusing) terms. The largest soliton's power admitting motion of kicked solitons is predicted analytically and numerically corroborated.
