Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate turbulence mitigation using 2× 2 MIMO equalization in a 100-m round-trip, 40-Gbit/s OAM-multiplexed FSO link between a ground transmitter and receiver via a retro-reflecting hovering UA V. Two OAM modes are transmitted, each achieving a BER of < 3.8× 10-3.
