Abstract

We report a case of akathisia developed after administration of 2.5 mg metoclopramide for treatment of nausea during cesarean section. The relevant literature as well as options for prevention and treatment of this phenomenon are reviewed. (C) 2000 Harcourt Publishers Ltd.
