Abstract
We observed the Geminid meteor shower in December 2001 with two intensified-video systems and derived light curves of meteors. We present here the observations and derive some preliminary conclusions about the photometric behavior of the Geminid meteors. In particular, we compare our results with theoretical models and with other observations via two observational parameters: the skewness and the flatness of the light curve near its peak.
