Abstract
To the Editor: We read with interest the article by J. B. Zalokar et al.,1 who reported that a high initial leukocyte count was a highly significant predictor of myocardial infarction. We would like to raise a similar hypothesis regarding leukopenia and a low incidence of myocardial infarction.
