Abstract

Left ventricular free wall rupture is a rare complication of acute myocardial infarction. Scarcely has a cardiac rupture subsequent to early reinfarction been reported. A left ventricular free wall rupture subsequent to reinfarction after successful percuteneous transluminal coronary angiography in a 78-year-old female is herein described.
