Abstract
The purpose of this work was to study the effect of the concentration of lithium tetrachloroaluminate in SOCl//2 on the kinetics and on the growth rate of the SEI of lithium. The electrochemical measurements were performed galvanostatically as described. It is found that increasing the electrolyte concentration causes an increase in the concentration of the mobile lattice defects. The range of this effect in a solid is in the order of the space-charge length.
