Abstract
Rather, this handbook seeks to outline new directions for research, addressing recent challenges in the Language Policy and Planning (LPP) field. The fourth and final part of the book consists of a single chapter written by the volume editors, focusing on the future of LPP research. They also highlight the growing presence of media in LPP and the need to study and conceptualize it, as well as the awareness of ethical issues that necessitates reflexivity on behalf of LPP scholars.
