Abstract

To implement the evidence-based decision-making into clinical practice, clinicians need to judge how to apply the evidence to individual patients. In clinical decision-making, it is not only important to empirically estimate the probability of the possible outcomes with each treatment alternative. The patient’s autonomy, rights, and point of view should be respected and taken into consideration.
