Despite the psychiatric nature of conversion disorder, some patients with functional deficit apply to the rehabilitation ward for treatment. Active treatment by the multidisciplinary rehabilitation team including short-term psychotherapy and psychiatric consultation is advocated. Two case reports are presented illustrating the advantages of treating patients with persistent motor conversion symptoms within the rehabilitation milieu.
