Abstract

This paper considers the problem of information structuring in large-scale dynamic systems. Specifically, it is shown that for a class of problems if an aggregation rule, or structuring, of the full state is chosen appropriately, a bounded control can be obtained directly from the aggregated output measurement without the need of state filtering. In addition, if one has the freedom in specifying the input distribution, the derivation of the control will be extremely simple.
