Abstract

Information requirements specification (1RS) constitutes an Achilles heel in the system life cycle (SLC). This article establishes a systematic overall IRS technique applicable to organizations of all types and sizes. This technique's integration of brainstorming and theory Z principles establishes an effective, stimulating, innovative, rapid and attainable IRS. IRS is defined by the users themselves with cooperation from DP professionals.
