Abstract
After a short description of the Adult Attachment Interview and the Lausanne Trilogue Play used in clinical work with infants and their families, two questions were brought forward. These questions arose after the description of a meeting between Israelien and Palestinian health professionals. Firstly, could we say that the process of dehumanization, peculiar to slavery, terrorism, etc. is an example, or even a proof, that the motivational system of intersubjectivity may be activated or deactivated, at an individual or collective level? Secondly, is there a gender difference concerning intersubjectivity modes?
