Abstract

The implementors are people who manage or execute the design, construction and operations of management information systems. Propositions are stated concerning the relationships between variable describing the implementors and the success or failure of their systems. The variables considered are the roles, recruitment, turnover, capabilities, organization and rank of the implementors and thier relationships with top management and users.
