Abstract
Starting from known functions, ui(x, y) (i=1-4) we construct a system of non-linear second-order partial differential equations, which contain basic features of equilibrium conductive, non-ideal MHD equations. This system of equations is then used as a test case for the implementation of the code PDETWO, as well as in the investigation of various peculiar situations which might occur in actual physical problems when only part of the boundary conditions are known.
