Hollow polydimethylsiloxane facial prostheses using anatomic undercuts

A technique of fabricating a polydimethylsiloxane prosthesis has been described. The prosthesis is hollow, using anatomic undercuts for retention. Continuing investigation should be made to determine tissue tolerance and stability of this material in the nasal and oral environment.
