Abstract
The diary, now in the Ghetto Fighters' House collection in Israel, is the only extant document that was written during the uprising in the Warsaw ghetto. Moreover, it is the only source showing the behavior of the civilian, non-combatant population of the ghetto during the uprising and the situation in one of the many bunkers built by this population in anticipation of the destruction of the ghetto. The diary was written in Polish and comprises events from 23 April-10 May 1943. Includes an introduction and the text of the diary.
