Abstract

Cardiologists should be aware, that a large cardiac mass in a patient with asthma and eosinophilia is highly suspicious for Churg-Strauss syndrome, and the heart should be carefully evaluated with MRI. Coronary angiography may be considered in selected patients with regional LV dysfunction, when revascularization is expected to improve cardiac function. Anticoagulants, steroids and immunosuppressive therapy may result in significant improvement.
