Abstract

In this work, the problem of designing a full order output feedback controllers for multivariable systems with delay in the measurements is considered. This infinite dimensional problem has been recently solved using controllers consisting of finite dimensional operators at the cost of loosing strict optimality. The corresponding design procedure is, however, numerically intricate. In this paper, an LMI approach for solving the equations obtained there is presented. The method is applied to design an acceleration control loop for a strongly coupled airframe.
