Abstract
3 patients with giant lipomas located in unusual anatomic locations are described. All 3 cases had clinical features similar to those of the malignant counterpart, liposarcoma. All were operated on and the tumors removed. Follow-up ranged from 12 years, with no recurrence during that period. The treatment of choice for these lesions is surgical removal and long-term follow-up.
