Abstract
A case of a giant fecaloma with dolichomegasigma successfully treated by surgical resection by end to end G.I.A. stapler anastomosis with proximal loop colostomy is presented. The predisposing factors for the formation of fecalomas and the diagnostic and therapeutic approaches are discussed.
