Abstract

General expressions are presented for describing crossovers from the two-dimensional Mott (Formula presented) to the soft-gap (Formula presented) variable-range hopping with any ν between (Formula presented) and 1. Theoretical expressions fit quite well experimental resistance data of (Formula presented) observed in amorphous nickel-silicon films.
