N2 - In this chapter, we first brieŸy review the pathophysiological mechanisms that likely contribute to gait disorders in patients with Parkinson’s disease (PD). Next, we describe the progression of gait disturbances with disease severity. Finally, we summarize the different pharmacological-, surgical-, and physiotherapy-based approaches that have been used to treat gait disorders in patients with PD.
