Abstract

A patient who developed full thickness skin damage treated with topical 5-fluorouracil is described. Extensive deep skin loss at sites treated with 5-fluorouracil has not been previously reported. The physician must be aware of the need for frequent examination of patients using this cytotoxic drug.
