The four and five pion production in p̄p non-annihilation has been studied at 6.94 GeV/c incident momentum. Cross sections were determined for the different channels. The role of resonance production in these reactions has been investigated, and we find copious Δ (1236) and Δ (1236) production. Angular and momentum distrubutions for the outgoing particles are given and compared to the analogous reactions in pp collisions at the same energy. Various features of the data are compared to the predictions of some multiperipheral models.
